Qualifications

• A technical, Associates Degree or certificate in a maintenance related field
• 4+ years of experience as an electrician
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 80 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception

• Start up and test installed generator
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and repairs
• Communicate with customers regarding the install of the generator and/or transfer switch, as well as warranty information
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes
• Local travel will be required
• The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls and talk or hear

Seidel Electric Inc. is looking for an Electrician/Generator Technician to install and repair generators and/or transfer switches on residential homes.

Key duties include:

• Install conduits, wiring, electrical panels and circuits
• Start up and test installed generator
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and repairs
• Communicate with customers regarding the install of the generator and/or transfer switch, as well as warranty information
• Adhere to all quality and safety codes
• Local travel will be required

Minimum Qualifications:

• A technical degree or certificate in a maintenance related field
• 4+ years of experience as an electrician
